Carlos Acosta has been supporting client organizations involved in global trade since 1998 and has managed numerous search assignments related to the various trade and regulatory compliance to include Foreign Trade Zones, CTPAT, Import Compliance and Export Compliance.

Carlos is one of our most experienced search consultants with experience in the dynamic US and Mexico border zone governed to a large degree by the USMCA.  His trade compliance recruitment has ranged from individual contributors to senior department heads for roles at logistics providers, customshouse brokerage firms, and importers or exporters that are based in either the US or Mexico.

Carlos has dual citizenship in both the US and Mexico and is bilingual in English and Spanish.  His language and cultural experience, along with his interactions with hiring stakeholders worldwide, have provided him with deep experience working across cultures internationally.

Carlos earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Occidente (ITESO) in Guadalajara, Mexico.
